It’s that time of the year again when we see a bunch of price increases in Disney World!
The price of Disney World tickets just went up (we have the details here), and along with those price increases comes an update on the cost of Disney World Annual Passes. If you’re thinking about purchasing one, here’s what you need to know.
There are four different Annual Pass types in Disney World, and they all just got more expensive. Now, if you’d like to purchase one, the prices are as follows:
- Disney Incredi-Pass — $1,629
- Disney Sorcerer Pass — $1,099
- Disney Pirate Pass — $869
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass — $489
Previously, the Incredi-Pass was $1,549 and the Sorcerer Pass was $1,079. Pirate Passes and Pixie Dust Passes were $829 and $469, respectively. If you haven’t yet purchased your Annual Pass, you’ll be paying the new rates. If you’re renewing an Annual Pass, your price will go up, but you are still eligible for a renewal discount.
Here’s a look at how Disney World Annual Pass prices have changed over the years.
Out-of-state visitors are only eligible to purchase the Incredi-Pass, unless you’re a Disney Vacation Club member (then you can get the Sorcerer Pass instead). Florida residents are able to purchase all four pass types and can use Disney’s payment plan to pay monthly, if they so desire.

I’ve never understood this kind of pricing anywhere with any company! The item, food, airline seat or park experience is the same no matter what so the price should also be the same! In the case of wdw, I think they have a lot of nerve charging more with every park and many resorts under construction and so many rides closed! But as long as people pay, companies will continue to take advantage of us!
We still have the Florida resident pass, but only the cheapest one now with blackout dates, and the payment plan helps but honestly, how does wdw justify these price increases with all this years-long construction in the parks and at the hotels?? They must have a very low opinion of their loyal guests!! Did they think we wouldn’t notice? Did they think we’d be happy about it? The millionaires making these decisions truly have no inkling of what it’s like to be a middle class American any more….the very people for whom Disneyland – and then wdw – was created!! Life is enough of a struggle and it was nice to escape go wdw now and then. How much more do they think we will take???
Food, fuel, and everything has gone up. Why wouldn’t you expect Disney to raise prices. It is costing them more to run the park, so they raise the prices. That’s how things work. More over we all know Disney raises prices every October, so if you planned ahead you could have saved money. I renewed my annual pass ahead of time last month and saved $40.
I had the incredipass until 10/7/25 after 8 continuous years I am not renewing. I am out of state and I can’t afford it I am in my early 60’s and with everything else going up so much and a tight budget I just can’t do it. So rather than a few short trips a year I may have to wait every few years and just buy a vacation package. Sad but it’s what I have to do.
Everything is going up even Disney+. They raised that by $20. They remind me of Rome untouchable they just want to own and buy and take and as long as people continue to go, they will continue to raise prices, no matter how much the American people complain. And you even have people who have smart attitudes saying well, then just don’t go if you don’t want to pay those prices. So for those people you must enjoy paying all that money out. It’s not an entitlement it’s trying to fight for what is fair for all people. companies should not price gouge and make it so unaffordable for everybody and no offense they act like they’re doing the low income people to medium income people a favor when they give us a doggy bone and say hey the resorts are on sale .There’s always a catch. You can get a ticket that’s on sale, but it has to be purchased with a park hopper and lightning lane, so therefore your ticket goes up why can’t it just be a ticket.
And why can’t they do a payment plan if you want to purchase an annual pass for out of state people universal does. I would like honestly just one day have people go upfront of each park like they’re getting ready to go in and just protest for one day saying we’re not paying these ridiculous prices anymore but that will never happen just like people do not want to fight when our government does wrong it’s like OK that’s the way it is. The biggest kicker that will be at the end of the year to find out how much Iger, board members, all the big ones how much money they actually made for the year.
To the author Ed, who bought his annual pass ahead of time and saved $40 good for you. Yes, things go up in price at the parks. But, if you actually read how much they bump things up like the annual pass. It’s over 124% price raising if you had looked at some of the post that AJ has posted about the food going up it was going up three times the amount of inflation. That is price gouging they do it because they know people will pay for it because you’re on vacation. So the big question for you. I guess it doesn’t matter to you if they keep raising the prices of annual passes, food, parking, souvenirs and resort stays. You like paying the high prices. Wouldn’t you like to see just a little bit more of your money staying in your pocket. I’m not saying don’t go to Disney ever again. When is enough
