We love Disneyland restaurants as much as the next person, especially some of the ones at the resort’s hotels, but we’d be lying if we told you we don’t also love a good lounge moment.

Benevolent Faerie at Broken Spell Lounge

Unlike table service restaurants, Disneyland lounges don’t require advance reservations, which can make them easier to get access to and slightly less stressful since you don’t have to worry about snagging a reservation up to two months before your trip even begins. One of our favorite lounges is Broken Spell Lounge at Disneyland Hotel, and while it officially opened in October 2024, we’ve got exciting news — the lounge’s official sign is FINALLY up!

Yes, that means that while this lounge has been fully open for just about a year, the official sign was not in place. Instead, we saw some temporary signs in place, and we were honestly starting to get worried if the lounge would ever REALLY become official. Because here’s the thing — this space has been a LOT of different lounges in the past few years, so part of us was worried it would close and become something else less than a year after opening.

However, based on a post made by @brokenspelllounge on Instagram, they’re REALLY official now, because their permanent sign has now been installed, and we’re OBSESSED with it! It hangs from the ceiling and really matches the magical vibe of the spot, since it’s themed after Sleeping Beauty.

Broken Spell Lounge is usually open from 4 PM to close, which is usually around 10 PM. You can also experience live music daily at 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8 PM. The menu here includes options like dry-rub chicken wings, a classic Caesar salad, and savory steak frites, and you’ll find lots of specialty cocktails, wine, beers, and more. You’ll also want to check out the seasonal offerings here — right now, there’s a pretty epic menu in place for Halloween you don’t want to miss!
