A new treat has arrived at Disney Springs!
We are always on the lookout for new food around Disney World, and today, we are headed to Pizza Ponte for a new dessert that supports a great cause. We are bringing you our thoughts about this new treat, so you can decide whether you need to make a stop by!
Introducing the Cocoapizzie, a cookie and brownie mash-up made with rich dark chocolate. You can grab 2 cookies for $5.50. This new treat is also supporting a great cause; a portion from each Cocoapizzie sold will benefit Cookies for Kids’ Cancer. This organization is dedicated to funding vital research for pediatric cancer.
On first glance, it may not look like the most amazing dessert ever. But looks can be deceiving. How does it actually taste? We are happy to report it tastes a lot better than it looks. It is a lot like a brownie. The outside is crispy like the edges of a brownie, and the inside is gooey. It also has a bit of saltiness to the cookie.
We liked that it wasn’t too dense, and the chocolate flavor was there without being overwhelming. Overall, we enjoyed this dessert a lot! It’s essentially a brownie in cookie form. Plus, it also supports a great cause, so it is a win-win. This treat will only be available for a limited time, though. Make sure to stop by in September to grab this special treat and support Cookies for Kids’ Cancer!
While you are in Disney Springs grabbing the Cocoapizzie, you can also make a stop by Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew for another limited time treat supporting a great cause. During the month of September, you can grab an exclusive donut at Everglazed that supports ovarian cancer awareness. We had the chance to try a mini sampler of the donut, and it is bright and full of lemon flavor!
