Disney World has been closed for almost two months now, and we sure miss getting a glimpse inside those park gates.
Well today, thanks to a dedicated pilot, we’re getting a birds-eye view of Disney World. We’ve already gotten one peek inside the parks from above, but this one is a LOT more comprehensive. Check out pics of the parks, resorts, and more!
Jonathan Michael Salazar, a pilot and photographer, organized this shoot over Disney World airspace (usually a no-fly zone). He took over 80 pictures and posted them on Facebook for the world to see! You can check out the full shoot here, but we picked out a few of our favorites to look at.
Here you can see an empty Magic Kingdom with a focus on the hub. It looks like there are only a few dozen cars parked in the employee lot behind Tomorrowland. The full album on Facebook features mind-boggling pictures of completely empty guest parking lots.
The next photo shows off an empty Epcot. You can see all construction sites in the middle of Future World!
Hollywood Studios was a shocking sight, too. We’ve never seen Toy Story Land this empty! We love all the bright colors.
Though it’s difficult to see the empty areas with all the foliage in Animal Kingdom, Salazar did snag this cool photo of all of the Kilimanjaro Safari trucks parked and out of commission.
You’ll have to check out his album to see pics of ALL the vacant resorts but look at this totally empty Polynesian Village Resort. It almost doesn’t look real.
Disney Springs is shuttered too! It’s weird to see such a vibrant district look so quiet!
Remember, to see the rest of the pics you can check them out on Jonathan Michael Salazar’s Facebook post here!

Love the photos, excellent job…..but, it makes me so sad! I want my Disney World back (soon?).
I NEED my DISNEY!!! This is so depressing. But we have to be safe as well. So sad looking at the photos of a deserted Disneyworld. Makes me cry
