Forget the EPCOT Cheese Crawl. Completing This New Snack Challenge in Disney World Gets You a MAJOR Prize

Disney Springs is one of our favorite hot spots filled with spectacular restaurants and eats at Disney World. One restaurant is having its tenth anniversary, and just wait ’til you hear about the celebration.

Morimoto Asia, owned by Chef Masaharu Morimoto, who you might know from Iron Chef, is celebrating its tenth anniversary and bringing guests along on a culinary adventure of a lifetime. Seriously — be prepared to be AMAZED by this new event.

Morimoto Asia is hosting a “Passport to Morimoto Asia” program starting on October 1st, which will showcase a different pan-Asian country each month, featuring a signature dish and cocktail. After trying the dishes, you’ll collect stamps in a custom-designed passport to explore new flavors throughout the year. Think of it like the Food and Wine Festival food crawls, but with a twist!

If you collect all 24 stamps, you will be awarded a weekend getaway to Boston, featuring an event at TD Garden, dinner for two, and a complimentary hotel stay (!!!). If you collect 12 stamps, you will receive an invitation to an exclusive reception at Morimoto Asia, hosted by Chef Morimoto. Say WHAT?! We’ve never been so tempted to dine out each month. Below is a sample meal that will earn you a stamp — it’s the February menu offering, Khuushuur (a dumpling) and Mongolian Milk Tea.

November — Korea: Sundubu Jigae + Soju & “Sprite”

February — Mongolia: Khuushuur + Mongolian Milk Tea
March — Singapore: Singapore Chicken Rice + Rhubarb Singapore Sling
April — Malaysia: Kapitan Chicken w/Coconut Rice + Tamarind Margarita
May — Philippines: Adobo Tacos + Pandan Espresso Martini
June — Taiwan: Lu Rou Fan + Baijiu Bijou
July — India: Chicken 65 + Porter Flip
August — Indonesia: Nasi Goreng + Coco-Kece
September — China: Dongpo Pork + Pomelo Paloma

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing in Disney Springs. This is Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s first Pan-Asian restaurant focusing on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. The restaurant is HUGE — it’s a two-story venue that features show kitchens where chefs exhibit traditions like Peking Duck Carving.
