IT’S BACK at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, y’all… it’s PICKLE MILK SHAKE time!
The famous Pickle Milk Shake’s home once again at the Festival is the Brew-Wing Lab. And things here at Brew-Wing run a little differently than the rest of the Festival Marketplace Food Booths. For one, it’s located inside The Odyssey Pavilion. For another, it’s graced with a unique MUPPETS theme! And we haven’t even talked about all of the other items (Wings! Beer! Cider!) in addition to the Pickle Milk Shake… Wait, you know what? I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s just step inside so we can bring your our full review of the Brew-Wing Lab!
Atmosphere
Okay, before we start sipping on Pickle Milk Shakes, I want to remind you that there’s an added bit of FUN here inside the Brew-Wing Lab. This Food Booth comes complete with friends in the form of MUPPETS! Welcome to Muppet Labs!
Bunsen (that would be Dr. Bunsen Honeydew) and Beaker are your hosts, and you’ll enjoy their company by way of videos that play from time to time in the Lab.
In addition to all the unique theming, the spot boasts PLENTY of tables so you can take in some likely much-needed air conditioning while you partake of your eats and drinks.
Menu
So, what are Bunsen and Beaker concocting at the Brew-Wing Lab? The food focus remains on an assortment of Wings: the returning Garlic-Parmesan Wings and Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper-Curry Wings are joined by the new Korean BBQ Wings. The Fried Pickle Spears and IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Tenders have returned as well.
Joining the aforementioned Pickle Milk Shake is the Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea. The Beer Flight is all-new this year (Boulevard Brewing Co. Space Camper Juice Nova Superstellar IPA, BrewDog 95 Tropical Session IPA, and Crooked Can Brewing Company Raspberry Blanc Wheat Beer), as is the Hard Cider Flight (BRLO Wild Berries Hard Cider, Ciderboys Pumpkin Spice Hard Cider, and Collective Arts Brewing Local Press Apple & Cherry Hard Cider).
And with that, “it’s time to get things started…” at the Brew-Wing Lab! (See what I did there?)
Eats
We’re kicking things off with WINGS… and lot’s of ’em! The Garlic-Parmesan Wings are $7.75. (Spoiler alert: These were our favorite of the bunch last year!)
This batch of wings isn’t just unique, it’s also quite tasty. This is a savory flavor combo that simply works well with the juiciness of the wings.
New this year are the Korean BBQ Wings, which are also $7.75. They’re coated with with gochujang barbecue sauce and toasted sesame.
These wings are a new addition this year, and they’re a good one. The wings are approachable, flavorful, and a good option for guests who want something a little adventurous without going too far outside their comfort zone. Portion-wise, they’re surprisingly hefty — you can feel the weight of them – and generously coated in a thick, glossy sauce that leans more sweet than spicy.
If you’re up for the challenge, the Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Carolina Reaper Pepper-Curry Wings have also made their way back. This batch is served with a creamy cucumber raita and costs $7.75.
These wings are a returning favorite, and they truly define Muppet-style chaos. Last year’s version was almost comically spicy, but this time around the balance felt better — they were still hot enough to make us sweat, but more flavorful and exciting than punishing. The cucumber raita cools things down just enough to keep you going back for another bite.
Next up, the Fried Pickle Spears are also back. These come with with dill ranch for $5.75.
A simple but always crowd-pleasing start. The fried coating is salty and crisp, the briny pickle inside delivers that tangy punch, and the dill ranch adds a cool, herby balance. It’s safe, tasty, and especially great for pickle lovers.
Finally, the IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Tenders ($7.75) are tossed in buffalo sauce. Both the ranch dressing and the blue cheese crumbles they are served with are plant-based.
The blue cheese is bright and earthy, just what you’d expect from a tangy blue cheese. The tenders are honestly a bit similar what you might find in the frozen meat-replacement aisle, but the terrific buffalo flavor makes up for that. This is a great option for plant-based eaters (and even carnivores, to be honest)!
Drinks
Grab your straw, because it’s time to sip the Pickle Milk Shake! Look, as wild as it sounds, the Pickle Milk Shake must be doing something right, because it’s back to the Festival for its third year running. This non-alcoholic drink costs $6.00.
The booth’s infamous wild card. Flavor-wise, it lands somewhere between vanilla ice cream and dill toothpaste, and it’s not something we’d personally pay for again. However, this milkshake has become a festival rite of passage — people buy it for the novelty, to dare their friends, and to watch reactions. It’s become an experience, not a flavor win.
The non-alcoholic Frozen Pomegranate & Raspberry Tea features Twinings Pomegranate & Raspberry Herbal Tea. It’s garnished with orange ice cream molecules, and costs $5.00.
Though renamed this year, this drink is back with a refreshing, sweet profile. It doesn’t have the earthy depth you’d expect from a tea, but the tart pomegranate note makes it feel crisp and surprisingly thirst-quenching. A nice complement to the wings, especially the spicier ones.
The Brew-Wing Beer Flight is $12.75 and includes three new-to-the-Festival brews: Boulevard Brewing Co. Space Camper Juice Nova Superstellar IPA, BrewDog 95 Tropical Session IPA, and Crooked Can Brewing Company Raspberry Blanc Wheat Beer. Each beer is also available individually, for a $5.75 6 ounce pour or a $9.75 12 ounce pour.
The Hard Cider Flight ($12.75) is all new, too! BRLO Wild Berries Hard Cider, Ciderboys Pumpkin Spice Hard Cider, and Collective Arts Brewing Local Press Apple & Cherry Hard Cider are the featured ciders this year. Like the beer selections, each cider is available individually as well, at $5.75 for 6 ounce pour or $9.75 for 12 ounce pour.
OVERALL
The Brew Wing booth is less about culinary perfection and more about playful food theater. Between safe bites like fried pickles, adventurous flavors like the Carolina Reaper wings, and gimmicks like the pickle milkshake, it’s designed to entertain. You’ll find something tasty, something surprising, and something to laugh about — which feels perfectly on brand for the Muppets.
Thanks so much for joining us at the Brew-Wing Lab! And remember, there’s a LOT more where this came from…
