The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival adventures continue!
While we make our way around World Showcase to visit all of the Festival Marketplaces to bring you our reviews of every Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, there’s a stop we need to make along the way. Even though it’s not technically a Festival Food Booth (since it’s open all year long), the Refreshment Port Hosted by Boursin Cheese is usually a must-stop regardless. Why? Because it’s always home to a specialty POUTINE for each and every seasonal EPCOT Festival! This year is no different, so we invite you to join us once again at the Refreshment Port…
Menu
The specialty food item at the Refreshment Port is the returning crowd favorite, Braised Beef Poutine!
It’s joined by a few special beverages, as well: the new Brewery Ommegang Oak-Aged Watermelon Kolsch and the returning Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach Wine. For everyone who is firmly entering their Pumpkin Spice Era, the Boyd & Blair Pumpkin Spice Mule is also back this year!
So grab a fork (you’re gonna need it), as we dig into some Poutine and more!
Eats
The Braised Beef Poutine is a twist on the classic Canadian dish, and it’s up for grabs for $10.
For the Food and Wine Festival version, the French Fries are topped with braised beef and a mushroom sauce featuring Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese. The essential cheese curds are joined by a gherkin relish. This super savory dish often lands a spot on our Best of the Fest list… and this year was NO exception.
For $10, this offering is loaded with tender braised beef, perfectly complemented with gherkin relish, cheese curds, and, of course, the fries. Speaking of those fries, one word of warning: if you’re not a fan of soggy fries, you may want to eat this on the quick side (which shouldn’t be that hard, since it’s almost too delicious to put down).
Drinks
With a Festival dish that huge and savory, you’ll definitely want a little something to wash it down. Your first option here includes the Boyd & Blair Pumpkin Spice Mule for $12.50.
In our honest opinion, this cocktail takes the whole Pumpkin Spice theme a little too far (and you KNOW how we love Pumpkin Spice around here!). It’s a great idea, but the execution is flawed, going too hard and in-your-face with the pumpkin spice seasoning overwhelming all other aspects of the drink.
The Brewery Ommegang Oak-Aged Watermelon Kolsch comes from Cooperstown, New York, and in addition to the infusion of watermelon, it adds real lime. It’s available for $12.
This beer surprised us. While it certainly tasted like watermelon, it was not overly sweet. In fact, it was a bit acidic, tasting almost like something out of the cider family, as opposed to a fruit beer.
The Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach Wine delivers another fruity sip. It costs $11.
This bubbly sip is wonderfully refreshing! It’s delicate and light in a nice contrast to the poutine.
OVERALL
As usual, the driving force behind the Refreshment Port is the Braised Beef Poutine, and as usual, it’s a must-have for fans of tender beef. However, the Brewery Ommegang Oak-Aged Watermelon Kolsch is also a sleeper hit.
Of course, you know it won’t be long before we’re back at the Refreshment Port to partake in some more poutine! In the meantime, if you’re gearing up for your own visit to the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, we’ve got more right here…
