One of the best parts about a Disney trip has to be the dining experiences!

California Adventure
We recently stopped by Bayside Brews at Disney California Adventure to pick up a couple of snacks, and we’re telling you our thoughts. Is it worth a stop on your next Disneyland trip? Let’s find out.
Atmosphere
Bayside Brews is a smaller snack cart located in Paradise Gardens Park, which is right next to Pixar Pier. Paradise Gardens is home to attractions such as The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Goofy’s Flight School.

But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
At this location, you’ll find the classic soft Jalapeno Cheese-filled Pretzel, Cream Cheese-filled Pretzel, or Mickey Mouse Pretzel!

The menu!
You’ll also be able to choose from a rotating selection of craft beers, hard ciders, and seasonal margaritas — or opt for an authentic Michelada. Assorted nonalcoholic beverages are also available.
And now, onto the main event — the food!
Eats
First up, we grabbed the Jalapeño Pretzel for $7.29. In our opinion, all pretzels should be eaten right after ordering. If you wait too long, they can get a little hard. The jalapeño on this was pretty light, and it didn’t seem like it had a ton of filling (maybe it was just ours).

Jalapeño Pretzel
At first, we got the sweet pretzel bread flavor after a crunchy bite into the pretzel, followed by a light and creamy jalapeño flavor. Since the spice was lighter than we expected, it left us wanting more of a jalapeño flavor. We liked it, but we felt like this one needed to be fresher and was lacking in the filling. Again, it could’ve just been ours.

It could’ve used a little more filling
We also got the Cream Cheese Pretzel for $7.29. Remember, try to eat this while it’s hot; that’s when it’s at its best. The bread on this one seemed to be softer and more doughy, with a sweeter flavor than the jalapeño pretzel.

Cream Cheese Pretzel
Inside was the creamy and sweet cream cheese, which complemented the sweet pretzel bread. The filling on this was better than the jalapeño pretzel, but still lacking a little bit in our opinion.

Could’ve used a little more filling!
Drinks
To drink, we picked up the Lychee Margarita for $18.50. This had to be our favorite thing we got out of the three. At first, it was just refreshing citrus and lychee flavors. When we mixed it a little, we started getting some tequila flavor!

Lychee Margarita
Still, it was nothing too strong and made for a light and refreshing cocktail. The lychee brought some sweet yet sour/tart flavors with light floral flavors. It was the perfect pair for the refreshing citrus flavors in the margarita! It maybe could’ve used a salt rim — for the vibes.

This was so refreshing
Nosh or Not
This Disneyland restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want a quick and easy snack! This is a quick grab-and-go spot if you’re hungry and on the run to your next ride.
- You’re a pretzel fan! If you love Disneyland pretzels, this one has more options and flavors than other spots.

You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You’re looking for a meal! Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll want to go somewhere else if you want something filling.
- You aren’t a pretzel person! This really goes without saying, as pretzels are the main snack at this location.
Overall
Overall, we like this spot. It’s cute, easy, and does what it’s there to do! We’ll hit it from time to time when we’re around that spot in the park and want a snack.
