Here at Disney Food Blog, we take the Halloween season very seriously. You’ll always see us hunting for new pumpkins, treats, and enjoying Disney World as it transforms into a Halloween adventure.
If you’ve been following our journey this year, you might have seen that as Halloween decorations started to pop up around Magic Kingdom, we were missing our iconic Mickey pumpkins! Luckily, the classic Mickey pumpkins have been up, but we got another pumpkin-filled surprise.
Storybook Circus in Fantasyland got a fall makeover!
These new pumpkins are so neat. There’s a Timothy Q. Mouse one where he is wearing a witch hat. We love all the bright fall leaves around him.
There’s also a Dumbo wreath with his big ears and all. We love that Storybook Circus is getting the fun it deserves.
Do you see some hidden details? The Dumbo pumpkins have peanuts in the greenery around the leaves.
Other areas in Fantasyland also got a transformation. There are fall wreaths filled with pumpkins and leaves near Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. There are gemstones in them, too!
We loved the garland near Pooh and Tigger’s meet and greet, too. The sunflowers are so pretty and put us in a fall mood as we walk around. If you look closely, you can see honey bees — perfect for Pooh Bear.
Imagine our surprise when we saw even MORE Halloween decorations! We don’t think Disney has ever decorated this much at Magic Kingdom, but we’re here for it. Liberty Square got some added wreaths and garland.
Seriously, we’re eating up every single pumpkin, leaf, and wreath.
Check out the Hall of Presidents! Each of the decorations around each area has different elements to tie it into the theme. This one has American Flags.
The Diamond Horseshow has different vegetables in cornacopias to go with the Thanksgiving theme dinner inside.
Let’s not forget about Frontierland, too!
There’s a bag of sugar hanging from this garland.
Even the Country Bear Musical Jamboree got a little decor. Make sure you check the balcony here during your Halloween party because sometimes there are characters up top!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts August 15th and will run on select nights until October 31st before the park is transformed into a Christmas theme. We’re going to be here opening night of the party to bring you all the best details and reviews so you can make the most of your party ticket.
