That’s right! NBC is set to air Inside the World of Epic Universe, and you’re invited to journey through the portals that take you through Super Nintendo World, Isle of Berk, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park. Come with us to find out more!
As we mentioned, NBC is inviting audiences to embark on a spectacular adventure! Tune in to Inside the Worlds of Epic Universe, which is set to air on Wednesday, August 20th at 9 PM Eastern Time. If you miss it, don’t worry — it will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
Luna lights up the night in Celestial Park
The program will be hosted by Joe Manganiello and will be a one-hour special that celebrates the debut of Universal Orlando Resort’s Epic Universe. Get ready to explore the imagination, innovation, and storytelling behind the one-of-a-kind theme park. Manganiello will be experiencing the park for the first time, so you’ll get to witness the raw reactions as he takes audiences on the journey with him.
Celestial Park
Get ready for some surprise special guests to appear in the program; we’re talking a star-studded group of people, including Bowen Yang, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon M. Chu, Mason Thames, Matt Rogers, Michelle Yeoh, Nico Parker, Vin Diesel, and Warwick Davis. There’s also going to be an exclusive extended interview with the legend himself, filmmaker Steven Spielberg!
Welcome to Celestial Park
Wait, Steven Spielberg? We can’t just overlook that! The iconic filmmaker will be featured in the program, offering insight into the creativity and artistry that make the park what it is. Universal’s rich history of immersive storytelling has defined entertainment for generations. Steven Spielberg even created the iconic phrase “Ride the Movies” three decades ago, and it continues to be a concept celebrated and used today with all of the immersive attractions at Epic Universe.

Host Manganiello talked about his love for movies, “As a kid growing up a huge fan of the movies, I couldn’t be more excited about diving into these immersive worlds that bring some of my all-time favorite characters to life. From the iconic monsters of Dark Universe to the super-sized attractions of How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
