You know what one of the best parts of being a Disney World Annual Passholder is? The perks!
Of course, we’re excited to get into the parks without having to purchase a new ticket every time. But there’s something extra thrilling about exclusive merchandise, discounts on restaurants, or the occasional free magnet. And right now, there’s an Annual Passholder exclusive snack in Animal Kingdom!
Now through September 27th, Annual Passholders can head to Dino-Bite Snacks at Animal Kingdom to pick up an exclusive sweet treat! To match the Crush-themed magnet currently at Discovery Trading Company, you can snag the Totally Sweet Sundae.
For $9.29, this sundae comes with butter pecan ice cream topped with hot fudge, caramel, candied pecans, and whipped cream. It’s garnished with sea blue sugar and served in a white chocolate-dipped waffle bowl. And ours had a tiny decorative Crush from Finding Nemo on top!
Keep in mind, when you order Annual Passholder treats in the parks, you typically have to show your pass and your ID.
The ice cream is really the star here with a rich, sweet flavor that’s not too overwhelmingly sugary. The caramel sauce adds a little extra sweetness as well as a slight salty touch. Add in the pecans, and you’ve got the texture element covered with a little extra chew in each bite. Delicious!
The toppings are pretty basic with a sugar detail and a white chocolate coin. There’s additional white chocolate on the dipped waffle bowl. The bowl itself was crispy and lightly sweetened, but it can be a LOT of additional food to eat if you’re trying to do this snack solo. If you want to eat the bowl too, we recommend sharing!
All in all, we’d totally recommend this snack as something to try during your next trip to Animal Kingdom! It’s refreshing and will definitely fulfill your sweet tooth. A great summer treat! And don’t forget to snag your Crush magnet while you’re at it.
We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop if there are more Annual Passholder exclusives announced for Disney World.
