Who’s ready for some fantastic snack news?! The Fantastic Four: First Steps has officially been released in theaters, and Disney is celebrating!
If you’re visiting Disneyland soon, you can meet these superheroes in the park for a limited time, and of course, there are some fantastic new eats and treats to check out, too. Speaking of which, we recently checked a couple of these new snacks out, and we’re bringing you our full review!
We stopped by Pym Test Kitchen at Disney California Adventure to check out some of the NEW Fantastic Four eats that just dropped! First up, we grabbed the Fantastic Elastic Mozzarella Stick for $14.49, which is served with sour cream and onion ranch. Oh, and did we mention that it’s completely BLUE?!
This was a solid giant mozzarella stick, and it definitely makes for good photos — but it wasn’t anything special. If you’re looking for something warm and cheesy, though, this should do the trick! We’d also recommend splitting it with someone as it’s rather large, but we won’t judge you for eating the whole thing yourself. The ranch wasn’t anything special, but it was a fun upgrade from the normal marinara sauce you’d expect. If you’d prefer marinara sauce, you might be disappointed.
Oh, and yes. It WILL dye your mouth blue for the rest of the day.
Of course, we had to grab some dessert, too, so we ordered the Invisible Indulgence. This is a clear lemon pie with a shortbread crust, whipped cream, and meringue pieces for $7.59.
This is a great choice if you’re looking for a lighter dessert option. It’s basically lemon JELL-O on top of a shortbread crust. The meringue pieces don’t have much flavor, but they do have a light and airy texture, and they provide a good crunch. The lemon had a sweeter rather than tart flavor, and the whipped cream also helped offset any sour or tart flavor. We were surprised by how much we actually enjoyed this.
We’ll be on the lookout for more fun and exciting Disney eats to review for you. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
