We’ve all smelled it, and we all know it’s not pixie dust.
Disney World days are long, sweaty, and exhausting — and that’s when everything’s going right. You can plan your heart out, show up bright and early, and still find yourself melting by noon. And while we can’t control the Florida heat, we can beg Disney to do one small thing that would make everyone’s day better: start selling deodorant or deodorizing wipes in more places. Like, every single store.
Because We Can All Be Pretty Smelly.
We’re not here to shame. Things happen! You forget a step in the morning rush to make your Lightning Lane. Your travel-size deodorant exploded in your bag. Or maybe you didn’t expect to start sweating like you’re in a hot yoga class just by walking from the bus to the front gate. It’s fine. We’ve been there.
But here’s the thing — once you realize you forgot deodorant, you’re stuck. It’s not like there’s a CVS in Fantasyland. Sure, First Aid might have something if you ask, but most guests aren’t even aware of that option, and they’re definitely not going to hoof it all the way across the park just to check. Wouldn’t it be great if there was just…a little shelf in the Emporium with a few travel-size basics? Like deodorant. Or wipes. Or both.
This Isn’t a Big Ask
Disney already sells tons of helpful things in their stores — sunscreen, ponchos, pain relievers, baby wipes, body spray (sometimes), mints, lip balm, even blister bandages. But actual deodorant? Rare. You might find it at your resort’s gift shop, but if you’re already in the parks, that’s not helping you.
And let’s be real: Deodorizing wipes would be even better. You could discreetly freshen up in a restroom, do a quick underarm reset, and get back to hugging Mickey without making him question his life choices. These wipes already exist in the real world. They’re compact, effective, and would fit right in next to the breath mints and hand sanitizer. Just toss a few into the shop near Big Thunder or at Creations in EPCOT. Easy win.
Everyone Wins Here
This isn’t just about your own comfort — it’s about the comfort of everyone around you. Crowded queues, packed shows, shoulder-to-shoulder parades… these are already intense environments. And we all know the combination of heat, sweat, and stress doesn’t smell like roses.
The people who know they forgot deodorant? They’d buy it in a second. Nobody wants to be that person in line. Having wipes or a stick of deodorant easily accessible would take the panic out of an “oh no” moment and let people handle the situation quickly and quietly. No drama. No judgment.
Final Thought
We love Disney World. We’ll keep sweating through it, no matter what. But if we could buy just one thing in the parks to make that sweat a little more bearable? It’s deodorant. Or wipes. Or honestly, both.
We know we’re not the only ones thinking this — so Disney, if you’re listening, this is us politely begging you to consider a tiny addition to your park shops that would make a huge difference for guests and cast members alike. It’s a small step for you. It’s a big leap for our noses.

We ‘pack heavy’ for our trips and in our park bags. We’re careful to take all precautions before we leave our rooms lol – and we carry wipes for humans and surfaces in our park bags. We usually also carry at least a stick of something, antipersperant or deoderant. Those of us who wear scent carry little tiny sprays. Scented hand sanitizer sprays can also do great multitasking to cool you off and cut down on smells on more than just hands.
