One of the best parts of visiting Disney World is meeting the characters and getting a chance to interact with them.
Mexico Pavilion
That is especially true when the character is one of the Fab Five, a.k.a. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, or Pluto. Well, for a while, one of those characters has been missing from his usual meet-and-greet spot in EPCOT. Now, though, we are happy to report that Disney’s #1 duck has returned to the Mexico Pavilion with his poncho and sombrero and is meeting people there again!
If you’ve visited EPCOT recently, you might have noticed that Donald’s meet-and-greet, which generally happens at the Mexico Pavilion, was moved to the Imagination Pavilion due to construction being done at the Mexico Pavilion. There, he met with guests in his traditional outfit. However, Donald is BACK where he belongs in Mexico!

Yes, that’s right, y’all. Donald Duck is BACK at the Mexico Pavilion in his sombrero and poncho. He’s meeting with visitors and reminding EVERYONE that he is #1!

The meet and greet area also looked really good…Donald’s got spiffy digs in EPCOT again. Welcome back, Donald!

If you want to meet Donald in EPCOT, you’ll want to check the My Disney Experience app for times. He’s available to meet throughout most of the day, so if you miss him, just wait a little bit longer and he’ll turn back up. He has to head indoors to cool off his tail feathers occasionally after spending time in the Florida heat and humidity.
