UPDATED May 29, 2026
Dreaming of meeting Mickey and Minnie? Hoping to say “HELLO” to Donald and Goofy? Would you love to give a wave to Woody and all our other Toy Story pals? Well, we’ve got a list right here letting you know where to find ALL the Disney characters in the Walt Disney World theme parks!
Character Meet and Greet locations give guests the chance not only to meet Disney pals, but to give the characters hugs and have their pictures taken with them. Characters are able to sign autographs!
Keep in mind that Disney friends can show up anywhere in the parks. However, there are several locations dedicated to Character Meet-and-Greets where you can be certain to meet your favorites!
Check My Disney Experience and the schedules posted in the parks for characters and their appearance times.
See the DO’S-and-DONT’S of Disney Character Meet-and-Greets HERE!
Magic Kingdom
From May 26th through September 8th, as part of Cool Kids’ Summer, Magic Kingdom features even MORE character experiences around the park! Keep your eyes peeled for pals even beyond the list of traditional character greeting experiences you see below.
In fact, Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland has welcomed your favorite Toy Story pals to Jessie’s Roundup inside The Diamond Horseshoe!
Get ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good time as Jessie, Woody, and friends join visitors for some “energetic fun” at Jessie’s Roundup throughout the day! Though it is not a traditional meet and greet (meaning that character do not stop to pose for photos with individual guests), the spot features games, crafts, and even interactive shows with beloved Toy Story characters. Stop in The Diamond Horseshoe anytime from 9:30AM – 6PM daily throughout Cool Kids Summer!

Roaming Characters
Throughout the day, you never know exactly who you’ll encounter! Be sure to check My Disney Experience and the Information Boards posted around the park for characters and their appearance times. As one example, you’ll often find several of those lovable Country Bears from the famous Country Bear Musical Jamboree hanging out in Frontierland, ready for a hug and a photo.
Country Bears including Big Al, Romeo McGrowl, Wendell, and Shaker are are considered Roaming Characters, so they walk about the land to interact with guests!
The Town Square Porch on Main Street, U.S.A. often has visiting Disney Princesses — such as Snow White, Mulan, or Elena — who may not be seen in Princess Fairytale Hall that day.
Alice sometimes visits Fantasyland (by the Mad Tea Party) all the way from Wonderland, and the Mad Hatter has popped up from time to time, as well!
Again, My Disney Experience can help you find characters outside of designated greeting locations (such as Princess Fairytale Hall).
Say you’d like to meet Jack Sparrow, for instance… when you see him appear on the list, simply click to find the times he’ll be making appearances!
And remember, you can use this online tool in any park…

We met Mickey, Minnie, and Donald on a visit to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, but a Cast Member informed us that the character lineup can change throughout the summer.
