The holidays are coming back to Disney World!

Happy Holidays from Magic Kingdom!
We’re daydreaming about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Festival of the Holidays, and more! Now, we finally know what’s confirmed to return for the 2025 holiday season.
Christmas time in Disney World is closer than you think! There are over 20 things Disney finally confirmed when it comes to the holidays around the resort, starting off with the dates. This year, Christmas in Disney World will officially run from November 14th, 2025, until December 31st, 2025.

Disney also confirmed the return of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which is an extra ticketed, after hours event that we love! Magic Kingdom has several returning favorites, including Frozen Holiday Surprise, which is a special nighttime castle show featuring characters like Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and more!

Looking for a fun ride overlay, the Jingle Cruise is also returning! The Jingle Cruise is the holiday version of the classic attraction, Jungle Cruise. It features fun holiday decor, laughable holiday-themed dad jokes, and more.

Over in EPCOT, Disney confirmed the return of the Festival of the Holidays! This includes their holiday kitchens, World Showcase Holiday Storytellers, and more fun. This also means that the Candlelight Processional is returning, where celebrity guest narrators to tell the Christmas story along with a choir of Cast Members accompanying the Voice of Liberty to sing classic Christmas carols.

Also over in EPCOT, you can find Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt where you search for Olaf all throughout the World Showcase! Disney also confirmed the return of Living with the Land’s holiday overlay called Glimmering Greenhouses. Disney didn’t mention the return of Figment’s Christmas sweater on the ride Journey into Imagination with Figment but we’re still holding out hope.

Disney also confirmed that Jollywood Nights will be returning in 2025 in Hollywood Studios! This is another after-hours, special ticketed event that brings holiday joy to life with special snacks, characters, entertainment, and more.

Sunset Seasons Greetings, a holiday projection show, will also be returning to the Tower of Terror during this holiday season in Hollywood Studios! If you really love Anna and Elsa, you can also see For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration with its special holiday ending this season!

If you want a holiday dining experience, Disney confirmed the return of Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood and Vine! This table service dining experience brings tasty buffet-style dining and your favorite characters all together in their holiday best.

Disney also confirmed that holiday decor will return to Toy Story Land along with Woody, Jessie, and Buzz’s holiday costumes! They aren’t the only characters getting a holiday look. Mickey and Minnie at the Adventurers Outpost in Animal Kingdom will also be getting a Christmas costume.

Animal Kingdom fans can rejoice! The Merry Menagerie is returning to Discovery Island, meaning we get to see those sweet, lovable puppets this holiday season along with live performers. (It’s the best part of Animal Kingdom’s holiday offerings in our opinion.)

The Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition is returning for fans to enjoy! It’s a nighttime projection show on the Tree of Life. It’s one of the only nighttime shows in this park, making it all the more special.

Outside of the parks, snoap is returning to Disney Springs! Snoap (or snow soap) is one of our favorite parts of the holiday fun in Disney World. The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is headed back to the shopping and dining district, bringing with it a collection of Christmas trees decorated with several different themes like Star Wars, Pixar, and Disney.

Jock Lindsey’s will be transforming into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar which we are obsessed with! It’s one of our favorite spots for specialty treats and drinks during the festivities. Live entertainment for Disney Springs is also returning with the toy soldier stilt walkers, snowflake rollerbladers, a holiday drum line, and a brass band playing holiday tunes.

If you’re looking to greet Santa Claus, Disney confirmed he is headed back to Disney World! He will be stopping by all 4 theme parks and Disney Springs through December 24th, 2025. The resorts are getting their traditional holiday decor (which we love) with returning decorations, holiday music, special treats, and more. Finally, we have to remind you that Disney previously confirmed the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House will not be returning in 2025 while the resort undergoes construction in the lobby.
