Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know we’re the DISNEY Food Blog, but you’ll find us driving through McDonald’s on a pretty regular basis, too (it doesn’t hurt that the world’s largest McDonald’s is so close to Disney World).
Sometimes, we just want to grab a Happy Meal with the latest Disney toy. Sometimes we just crave those fries (which you used to be able to get at Disney World a long time ago). Sometimes, we just want a fast meal that’s usually reliable. Well, if you love McDonald’s as much as we do, you’ll want to know about a new menu item that just dropped.
Meet the Daily Double, a burger that select cities have already seen at McDonald’s. Now, though the Daily Double is making its debut in McDonald’s restaurants across the U.S. through the end of 2025. It’s made with two 100% beef patties and topped with melted American cheese, shredded lettuce, slivered onions, mayo, and two slices of tomato.
So you might be wondering what makes this new because McDonald’s already has a double cheeseburger and a McDouble. The difference between a double cheeseburger and a McDouble is that the regular double cheeseburger has a second slice of cheese.
Here’s the McDouble for comparison:
Meanwhile, the new Daily Double has lettuce and tomato slices (and just one slice of cheese). Yeah, we know…it’s confusing. Anyway, the Daily Double is also a new option for McDonald’s McValue Meal Deal Bundle, which is $6 or $7, depending on the location. That deal includes a choice of an entree plus a 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, small Fries, and a small drink.
