Something very cool is landing at EPCOT — and it’s almost time to check it out!

Starting June 4th, guests will be able to step inside the brand-new lounge GEO-82! Here’s what we know about this highly anticipated lounge so far.
The name, as shared by Disney, is a “nostalgic nod to Spaceship Earth — which opened in 1982. At GEO-82, you’ll be immersed in the storied history and enduring legacy of this timeless EPCOT icon.”
We can see the lights are on from outside!
GEO-82 is designed as a serene escape from the park’s hustle and bustle, featuring sleek, modern decor inspired by the geometric architecture of Spaceship Earth. The lounge offers panoramic views of the World Celebration Gardens and World Showcase Lagoon, providing a picturesque backdrop perfect for unwinding and dining.

Speaking of dining, guests can look forward to a curated menu of globally inspired small plates and innovative cocktails as well as world-class wines and spirits, and a classic assortment of beer.

For a truly memorable evening, you can book the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience. This premium offering includes a window-side table, a tasting tower of savory bites and sweet selections, Champagne poured tableside, and event-exclusive cocktails. Guests will enjoy unparalleled views of Luminous: The Symphony of Us, EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular.

Reservations for GEO-82 opened on May 6, 2025, and have been in high demand. If you’re planning to visit, it’s recommended to book as early as possible through the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website. This lounge is only available to individuals 21 years of age or older, who must present a valid ID upon arrival to confirm their reservation.

I’d love to check it out, but I travel with my adult son who has autism; he does not drink alcohol and nothing on the small plates’ menu would appeal to him. I’d probably order the hummus or mushroom flatbread with a glass of wine, but without something like chicken satay skewers or tempura shrimp for him, it’s a no-go, unfortunately.
