If so, you probably already know a lot about how you can use your pass to enter Disney World theme parks, as well as how to get discounts on everything from food to souvenirs. You probably also know you can use your pass for exclusive merchandise and fun freebies. Well, now, your Annual Pass can also get you exclusive access to a lounge — with free snacks and drinks — in EPCOT.
In case you missed it, V.I.Passholder Days have arrived in Disney World and run through July 31st. During this time, you’ll be able to get even MORE discounts on food and shopping, as well as take advantage of a ton of new perks, including an exclusive lounge in EPCOT. Well, that lounge is now open! You’ll find it at the Restaurant Marrakesh location in EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion.

Inside is a nice comfy place to sit and relax away from the EPCOT crowds — WITH air conditioning. That alone is worth it, right?

However, you can also grab some free snacks here while you’re at it. You can grab some packs of Stacy’s Garlic and Parmesan Herb Pita Chips and Fruit Bowl Nut Free Mix to munch on while you’re chillaxing.

You can also get some free drinks, including water (gotta’ stay hydrated) and that delicious hot Moroccan Mint Tea.
Great place to hydrate, too
It’s a great place to get away from things for a while, charge your phone, get some work done, etc.

You’ll even find a unique Disney PhotoPass opportunity here with a fun MagicShot with Genie and Abu. A Cast Member also told us there would be new Magic Shots coming in June.

Did we mention you also get a free Annual Passholder pin? They were handing them out to Passholders as we entered the lounge.

The lounge will be open from 11 AM to 7 PM through July 13th, so be sure to take advantage of it while it’s open. There is plenty of seating available, and the A/C is WONDERFUL.

Hi Ashley! Only passholders will be allowed in. Guests will not be allowed unless they are also passholders.
Reopen Restaurant Marrakesh!
Why would these benefits end before the summer is over? Most people vacation throughout the ENTIRE summer, they don’t stop on July 31st? And why would the lounge close July 13th and not stay open thru July 31st with the other benefits. The annual passes continue to increase but the benefits are decreasing. We need to plan our vacations so far out but if we would wait to have the “EXTRA BENEFITS” or “PERKS” announced there wouldn’t be any availability on rooms to book. It seems I’m never there when the Annual Passholders magnets are available either. They don’t mail them, but they used to. Oh well. Thanks for reading my vent.
I had such a horrible experience with the AP Lounge last year that I’m not even inclined to give it another chance when I’m at Disney World next month. And those very limited snack options are incredibly disappointing.
