Disneyland Resort in Anaheim is not the only Disney resort celebrating a big birthday this year. Hong Kong Disneyland will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

In honor of that big anniversary, the resort is kicking off the Most Magical Party of All, a year-long celebration that will feature an all-new parade and more! Well, Disney just dropped even MORE details about this big party. 

The Most Magical Party of All officially kicks off on June 28th and will give guests a “day-to-night magical party that builds excitement as the day unfolds,” according to Paul Rivet, Executive Director, Entertainment, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. There will be three HUGE entertainment experiences “elevating the party vibes to an unprecedented level!”

The party kicks off with the brand-new “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle.” This 15-minute show promises to be “electrifying” with a concert with high-energy music, dancing, and interactive moments in front of the Castle of Magical Dreams. Mickey and Friends, along with Duffy and Friends, will also be sporting brand-new 20th anniversary party outfits.  They will be joined by Disney Princesses Aurora, Tiana, and Belle in brand new outfits, too. The show features two new original songs, the 20th anniversary anthem, LED screens, giant balloons, fog, pyrotechnics, and more!

The party will also feature a brand new parade called “Friendtastic!” This 30-minute parade will have 11 floats and over 100 performers, including more than 30 Disney characters. You’ll see Mickey and Friends at the front of the parade, followed by floats themed around movies like Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Encanto, Toy Story,  and more. Duffy and Friends and the Princesses will also be in the parade. The parade will also feature the FIRST appearance of Red Panda Mei from Turning Red.

The end of the evening will bring a new nighttime show, “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky!” This 30-minute spectacular is set to be the “grandest” nighttime show EVER at Hong Kong Disneyland and will feature large-scale 3D projection mapping, drones,  illuminated water projections, choreographed water fountains, flames, lasers, theatrical lighting, and pyrotechnic effects. WOW.

The big party will also feature a variety of 80 NEW foods and drinks. Plus, there will be over 300 (!!!) all-new exclusive merchandise items across six major collections in the initial launch, celebrating Hong Kong Disneyland’s big 2-0.

You’ll also get a free party photo from Disney PhotoPass, as well as order a special 20th Anniversary Magical Party Room Pack for your hotel room to keep the party going outside of the park. Hotel guests will also be getting a FREE gift when they stay at a Hong Kong Disneyland hotel.
