Pixar just dropped some MAJOR secrets about Win or Lose, and I feel ridiculous for missing them.

If you’re like me, you probably thought you were paying close attention while watching Pixar’s first-ever original series on Disney+, but it turns out we all missed some seriously cool Easter eggs. Pixar recently shared eight hidden details that connect Win or Lose to some of their biggest films, and now I can’t unsee them. Let’s break them all down!
The Pizza Planet Truck Lives On
The iconic Pizza Planet truck, first introduced in Toy Story (1995), makes an appearance in EVERY single episode of Win or Lose.
And not just once—there are 12 different shots featuring the legendary vehicle. Time for a rewatch to find them all!
The Pixar Ball Bounces Into Episode 4
The famous Luxo Ball pops up not once, but TWICE in episode 4. You’ll spot it in the daycare scene…
…and again later at the party.
Classic Pixar move!
A Sci-Fi Nod to Buzz Lightyear
Frank definitely loves sci-fi novels, but one stands out—”To Infinity and Beyond.” Sound familiar?
It’s a direct reference to Buzz Lightyear’s iconic catchphrase from Toy Story.
A Sneaky Toy Story of TERROR! Connection
Remember the creepy online listing where Jessie was being sold in Toy Story of TERROR!?
The same website makes a comeback in Win or Lose—this time as the online retailer Rochelle uses to sell her shoes.
A SparkShorts Cameo
If you watched Pixar’s Purl, you’ll appreciate this one. The titular character is hiding in Kai’s bedroom, making it a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance.
A Spooky Movie Throwback
During the house party scene, the black-and-white horror movie playing in the background is the same one that the toys watch in Toy Story of TERROR!
It’s definitely a deep cut only true Pixar fans will appreciate.
A Terrifyingly Familiar Doll
Kai’s Grandma has a doll collection, and one of them looks eerily familiar.
That’s because it’s styled after the ventriloquist dummy from Toy Story 4. Yep, the same one that gave us nightmares.
A Theater with Pixar History
The movie theater in Win or Lose is named “The Presto,” a direct nod to Pixar’s short film Presto, which also takes place in a theater.
And there you have it! These little details make Win or Lose even more special, and I’m already planning a rewatch to catch them all.
