When it comes to planning your Disney World vacation, there are a lot of factors to keep in mind.

And, no matter how much you plan, mishaps sometimes happen and things that you likely weren’t expecting can pop up. It may be a sudden ride closure, some weather that’s ruining your day, or — in rare cases — a planned power outage at your hotel! For folks with upcoming stays at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, that’s exactly the case.
Heads up for anyone staying at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort this weekend! A planned power outage is scheduled for Friday, February 14th between the hours of 2 AM and 6 AM. So, if you’re staying at this hotel tonight, make sure you plan accordingly!

We spotted this sign on a recent trip over to the hotel advising guests of the power outage caused by work that will “temporarily impact electrical power” in guest rooms. If you’ll be impacted by this outage and have any additional questions, make sure you ask Cast Members at the hotel who can assist you.
Heads up!
This could be a problem for people who get back late from a park or elsewhere, go to plug in their phone to charge, and don’t realize that there will be a power outage. And then, when waking up the next morning for rope drop — their phone may not be fully charged! We’ve seen similar planned outages at other hotels in the past, often when Disney needs to do some sort of maintenance that requires the electricity to be off. In most cases, you’ll sleep right through it!
