Are you planning a trip to Disney World? You’ve probably already done a lot of thinking about how long you want to stay, where you’re staying, and what kind of park tickets you need.
Maybe you’ve even thought about where you’re going to eat (very important thing there, in our opinion). But have you started to think about your packing list? There are certain things you’ll need to bring to Disney World with — including day bag essentials — that you might not need for other vacations. If you need help, though, don’t worry — we’re going to share our favorite essentials with you that have literally saved our Disney World trips.
All of these essentials can be found on Amazon. If you want free shipping, but don’t have an Amazon Prime account, you can sign up for a free Prime trial by clicking on the banner below.
Here are ten essentials that we do NOT go to Disney World without.
Get the Owala FreeSip Water Bottle
We’ll say it over and over again: it is SO important to stay hydrated in Disney World. The heat and humidity are NO joke and drinking plenty of water will help your body cope. We love this water bottle and use it every day when we’re visiting the parks. Even better? You can do what we did — we had the characters sign our water bottle so it’s a fun, yet usable, keepsake, too.
Buy the JISULIFE Handheld Mini Fan
Remember how we just said it’s hot and humid in Florida? Well, you’ll want to keep yourself as cool as you can, and that’s where this mini handheld fan comes in. What makes it even MORE useful is that it also has a powerbank so you can use it to charge your phone, too.
Get the Dr. Scholl’s Work All-Day Superior Comfort Insoles
Your feet are going to take a beating because you will be walking more than you usually do. That pavement is also not kind to feet, so having a good insole is a MUST for your shoes to keep your feet comfy all day.
Buy the Moleskin Set
Remember how we said your feet will take a beating? Well, hopefully, you’re wearing the right shoes with good insoles, but even if you are, you might still get some hot spots that could lead to blisters. Carrying moleskin in your day bag, especially these pre-cut pieces, could just prevent blisters from forming (and can protect blisters from more pain after they form).
Get the Mini Backpack Organizer
If you have a Loungefly Mini Backpack, you know that it might be cute, but it has like ZERO organization inside. Well, this organizer that you just insert into your mini backpack takes care of that problem so that you can find things in your backpack easily when you need them. What’s even better is that if you switch backpacks, you can just pull out the organizer with all your stuff in it and put it inside your new backpack, so switching bags is a breeze!
Buy the First Aid Kit
Someone is bound to get hurt or need a band-aid or something during your trip, especially if you have kids. This Travel First Aid kit has everything you need just in case something happens, including antibiotic ointment, band-aids, a small pair of scissors, and more.
Get the Mouse Ear Holder
When you have to take your ears off for rides, where do you stash them? It’s kinda’ a hassle to shove them into your bag (especially if they don’t fit). However, this simple accessory means you can just attach them quickly to your bag so your ears don’t go anywhere.
Buy the FROGG TOGGS Poncho
It doesn’t matter when you visit Disney World, you can count on rain for at least one day of your trip. Be prepared with this poncho that we use ALL the time. It comes in its own little carrying bag, so you can stash it back into your bag when you’re done with it without getting your stuff wet.
Get the Silicone Waterproof Shoe Covers
In addition to a poncho, we really like these waterproof shoe covers because who wants to walk around in wet socks and shoes all day long? Put these on when it starts to rain, and you’ll keep your feet cozy and dry.
Buy the 4-Pack of Cooling Towels
Another way to stay cool in Disney World is by using cooling towels. We love these because they each come in their own individual pouch and all you have to do is wet them, wring them out, and then wrap them around your neck (or your forehead or wherever you need some cooling action).
