Refurbishments are underway all over Disney World.
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Disney has added a few hotel shops and a pool to its list of refurbishments. Guests will still have options available, but they will be limited at two Disney World hotels.
At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, several shops along the boardwalk will be closed from January 2025 until May 2025. These shops will be closed in phases, with two shops being open at once for guests to explore.

On January 13th, the Fuentes del Morro Pool and Aquatic Play Area at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort closed for maintenance. Luckily, this will be a shorter refurbishment, as it’s expected to reopen at the end of January.

While this pool is closed, all other pools at the resort will remain open. This includes five leisure pools that you can choose to enjoy instead of the Fuentes del Morro pool.

Several other attractions around Disney World are under refurbishment, including other hotel pools, restaurants, rides, shows, and more. If you’re heading to Disney World soon, be aware that these closures may impact your vacation. Some of the closures are shorter, while others like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will last at least a year.
