If you’ve never been to Disney World, you might find yourself a little overwhelmed, especially when you visit Magic Kingdom.
There is SO much to do in Magic Kingdom, so many things to ride, so many things to eat, and LOADS of entertainment, including a parade (and that’s soon to be TWO parades), a show in front of Cinderella Castle, fireworks, cavalcades, and more. So you might already be working on planning how to make the most of the day you spend in Magic Kingdom. Well, we’re going to help you with that a bit.
Okay, so we’re going to share some tips with you that will help you maximize your time in Magic Kingdom. The first thing you probably want to do in Magic Kingdom (especially at rope drop) is head straight to Starbucks at Main Street Bakery for that caffeine fix. We get it — that’s usually the first thing we want to do to. The problem is that if you want to do that, you’re going to find yourself waiting in a LONG line — seriously, sometimes the Starbucks line is longer than some of the ride lines!
Here’s our suggestion for that morning cup of joe: just skip that line and head straight to Tomorrowland (and here’s a shortcut tip: you can cut through Tomorrowland Terrace to get there faster and avoid the crowds) and head to Joffrey’s Revive. The line is a lot shorter, PLUS you can order a special Disney-themed coffee drink exclusive to this location: the Mission to S’mores Latte.
Okay, so we’ve got one other way to maximize your day in Magic Kingdom. There are always lines at Main Street Confectionery (we think it has to do something with that smell when you walk by because it is HEAVENLY).
BUT you don’t have to wait in line for snacks there. This location has Mobile Order, so you can place your order through the My Disney Experience app and just pick it up at the location inside the store marked for Mobile Order Pick-up. You’ll get in and out quickly while everyone is still waiting in line to order from a Cast Member.
Sure, these might seem like minor tips, but they can save you a lot of time in Magic Kingdom. We’ll keep sharing our best tips, tricks, and resources, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
