IT’S THE HOLIDAY SEASON! Goodbye, Halloween. Hello, holidays at Disney World! We’re talking gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, special events, and SANTA! It’s gonna be a great winter season, and Disney is already decorating for the holidays. Dear Magic Kingdom Christmas tree, 🎶  all I want for Christmas is you.  🎶
Now, we visited the Magic Kingdom on November 1st, just one day after Halloween. That means those amazing Disney decorators had just a few hours to transform the park from a spooky spectacle to a winter wonderland. The overnight holiday makeover is pretty impressive!

We LOVE watching the Magic Kingdom transform for the holiday season — stay tuned as more and more new details arrive in the park. One of our FAVORITE Magic Kingdom holiday decorations is the wreaths inspired by each land in Magic Kingdom.
Glass slippers!
At Casey’s Corner, for example, you might see a baseball-themed wreath. Over at Cinderella Castle, the wreathes are bedecked with tiny glass slippers. It’s such a special little detail.

As you can see, we are READY for the holidays to begin! If you’re in Disney World right now, be sure to check out Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort — the GIANT gingerbread house (that doubles as a snack spot) is nearly complete.
More than 10,000 pieces of gingerbread are attached to build this house.
