Yeah, Disney has been busy dropping some serious news bombs recently. We’ve learned more about Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure. We learned about a NEW Lightning Lane Premier Pass that will be available soon. We even learned about a new paid program for Disney Vacation Club members to get even MORE perks.

In the meantime, it seems like Universal Orlando is ready to say “hold my beer,” because we think a BIG announcement is coming soon — and y’all know, it HAS to be about Epic Universe, right?

If you follow Universal Orlando on social media, you may have seen this rather cryptic post which just shows a date: October 17th, 2024. Um…hello? THAT’S TOMORROW, UNIVERSAL!

Well, that doesn’t say a lot, but being that we already know Epic Universe is opening in 2025, there’s very little doubt that’s what this big announcement will be about. Could we get an actual opening date? It’s likely because progress has come along nicely on the third Universal Orlando theme park. Plus we’ve already seen a hint of a potential opening date that has it opening before Memorial Day weekend in 2025. Who knows? We might also get even MORE details about the new theme park that we haven’t seen yet. Whatever the case, WE ARE EXCITED.

Epic Universe Preview Center

So far, we know a lot about the five new lands coming to Epic Universe, including details about rides, restaurants, and more! The five lands will include an original land called Celestial Park, as well as lands based on How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and Dark Universe.
