Disney Reveals FIRST LOOK at Haunted Mansion Parlor Costumes for the NEW Treasure Cruise Ship!

Y’all. We can’t with all the things we’ve seen today at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.

So far, we’ve hit the Anaheim Convention Center floor running, seen one merchandise booth literally cap its line AS SOON AS THE DOORS OPENED, had a sassy conversation with Rocket Raccoon in real time, seen the new ride vehicle for an upcoming Marvel-themed attraction at Avengers Campus in Disneyland, and more. And we’re just getting started. We also got a TON of new details about the newest ship coming to Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Treasure.

First off, we got to see Captain Minnie as she’ll appear on the Disney Treasure. As the ship has a theme that’s devoted to adventure, she’s wearing her best adventure outfit. We love it!

We also got a first look at some of the design elements of the Haunted Mansion Parlor, which might be the thing we’re excited about the most! There was a table with many of the decor elements laid out on it, including a bust (with half of its face melting!), wallpaper samples, flooring samples, tiles, and other design elements. SO cool.

We also saw some concept artwork that we’ve previously seen for the parlor, as well as some sketches of things we’ll see in the new lounge.

We also got our first look at the costumes that will be worn in the Haunted Mansion Parlor. As you can see, these differ from those worn at the attraction in Disney World and Disneyland. The skeleton keys are filled with Easter eggs — and you will see different versions of the keys on different Cast Members’ outfits. FUN. The best is inspired by the lining inside one of Haunted Mansion’s coffins. PERFECTION.

We also got a first look at the costumes for the Periscope Pub, the first EVER 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea-inspired lounge at sea. These might look a little familiar because they’re an upscale version of the original 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea ride: note the “N” piece from the ride that was modified into a “P” for the Periscope Pub. We love this throwback.
