It makes sense — the parks are constantly changing and older rides are either retired or reinvented. To that point, Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort is closing tomorrow! Let’s go over the details!
You read it right. Space Mountain at Tokyo Disney Resort will close for renovation at the end of the day tomorrow, July 31st, 2024!

The renovated ride is scheduled to debut in 2027 and will have brand-new special effects and enhanced performance! It will maintain its original concept and will bring guests a new experience and new thrills when it reopens.
In the meantime, Tokyo Disney Resort has been hosting a celebration called “Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition!” that started on April 9th, 2024, and runs through tomorrow, July 31st, 2024.

Not only does this celebration come complete with special decorations and overlay for the ride, and a special photo op, but it also has exclusive merch.

So if you happen to be at Tokyo Disney Resort tomorrow, don’t miss out on the last day of this celebration.
