6 NEW Characters Are Coming to Jollywood Nights in Disney World This Year!

Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was a brand-NEW holiday party that debuted in 2023. It’s returning this year on thirteen select nights from November 9th through December 21st, 2024!

The limited-ticket party has a themed nighttime fireworks show, exclusive treats, holiday entertainment, and rare character meet-and-greets. In 2024, there will be a few NEW characters joining the event! Check out a full list here.

Disney has released lots of essential details about the 2024 Jollywood Nights event! One of the biggest updates they announced was the introduction of six new characters at the party: Baloo and King Louie from Talespin will be appearing at Echo Lake; José Carioca or Panchito from The Three Caballeros will be greeting guests at Animation Courtyard; and you’ll be able to find Bo Peep or Lotso from the Toy Story movies at the entrance to Toy Story Land.

Based on the language on Disney’s website (“José Carioca OR Panchito and Bo Peep OR Lotso), it sounds like the characters might swap out from night to night.

Lots of popular character meet-and-greets from 2023 will be returning as well. Here’s that list:

Phineas and Ferb – appearing at Echo Lake
Max Goof as Powerline – appearing at Echo Lake
Rescue Rangers Chip ‘n’ Dale – appearing at Echo Lake
Santa Stitch – appearing at Celebrity Spotlight at Echo Lake
Santa Duffy – appearing at Santa’s Workshop at Grand Avenue
Edna Mode and Frozone from The Incredibles – appearing at Pixar Plaza
Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck – appearing on Hollywood Boulevard near Mickey &
Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Goofy and Pluto – appearing by Pixar Plaza
Minnie Mouse – appearing at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane

Another new addition in 2024 will be a skating spectacular on Hollywood Boulevard, which will feature international champion skaters performing to holiday music!

Last year, we checked out the lively Holiday Fiesta En La Calle, while Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy hosted a live holiday special at Theater of the Stars with some other Disney special guests (like Princess Tiana and Belle). And Jack Skellington himself hosted a special sing-along themed to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas at Hyperion Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and a DJ spun holiday tunes on Hollywood Boulevard. Many of these offerings are returning in 2024!

One of the best parks about any Disney after-hours event is access to popular rides with shorter wait times. Last year, you could hop on Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Tower of Terror, Rise of the Resistance, and more during the party.

In 2024, Jollywood Nights will take place on November 9th, 13th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, and 30th and December 2nd, 7th, 11th, 14th, 18th, and 21st. Tickets will range in price from $159 to $179 — the cost will depend on the date.

Don’t forget that Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights.

The party takes place from 7:30PM to 12:30AM. However, ticket holders can enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios as early as 6PM.

Tickets for Disney Jollywood Nights will be available for purchase via the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience app. Guests of select Disney Resorts hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase tickets starting on July 2nd (for event dates during their stay). For all other guests, tickets will go on sale July 10th.
