REVIEW: Did Disney Just CHANGE The Grey Stuff?! 🤯

You have probably heard of The Grey Stuff a couple of times, and if you haven’t, you should “try The Grey Stuff, it’s delicious!”

We even have a recipe right here, so you can whip some of it up at home! You can usually grab The Grey Stuff from Red Rose Taverne in Disneyland Park (or Be Our Guest in Disney World). We have seen it get a twist at Red Rose Taverne before, like this Halloween Grey Stuff. And now, it got another twist, so we had to check it out!

You can now get The Grey Stuff with some summer flare! The Summer Stuff has been offered before, but we wanted to grab one to try it out. The Summer Stuff from Red Rose Taverne costs $6.79. It is a shortbread cookie, red velvet cake, raspberry, cookies & cream mousse, and pastel-colored sprinkles.

We have to say that this dessert is so pretty! We are already drooling, and we haven’t even taken a bite yet. The shortbread cookie adds a sunny look, and the pastel-colored sprinkles really make the dessert pop. Let’s cut into this and see how it tastes.

We thought this dessert was a fantastic, light dessert. The texture of the mousse was like a light frosting. We tasted a lot of raspberry flavor, combined with a light cookies & cream flavor. The red velvet cake was wonderfully moist and soft. We got a mixture of vanilla and chocolate flavors from it, which paired perfectly with the mousse. The shortbread cookie was sweet with a light lemon flavor.

Overall, we really enjoyed the Summer Stuff. It is VERY similar to the classic Grey Stuff, though. The Summer Stuff just has a different base and is covered with pastel sprinkles. It is a very fruity dessert that is perfect for the summer. Raspberry is the prominent flavor, so we wouldn’t recommend this dessert if you don’t like raspberry. We would say it is on the lighter side and a great size for a treat. While it is definitely sweet, you won’t feel super weighed down after enjoying it. The combination of raspberry, chocolate, cookies & cream, and vanilla worked great together!
