Tokyo DisneySea’s highly anticipated new land, Fantasy Springs, is opening soon on June 6th, and so are the land’s four BRAND NEW RIDES!
We were lucky enough to experience this new land before it officially opens, and made our way around all the rides, restaurants, shops, and more. There are lots of rides to explore, but right now we’re bringing you along as we experience Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies for the first time!
Fantasy Springs is home to multiple new rides — two of which are in Peter Pan’s Never Land! We already brought you a look at our experience on Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure Ride, but now it’s time to check out the other ride in this part of the new land — Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies!
The ride itself is a journey through Pixie Hollow with Tinker Bell, and if you’re a fan of the Pixie Hollow film series, you’ll definitely notice some familiar sights!
The queue for Busy Buggies is filled with lots of fun nods to Tinker Bell and her fairy friends. We felt like we were shrunk down to the size of a fairy!
As you move through the queue, you’ll really feel like you’ve been transported to Pixie Hollow thanks to the giant flower lights, grass, and animal and insect friends.
There are all sorts of bits and baubles that a fairy might use to decorate or even live in.
You’ll even find a large map of Pixie Hollow (and thus the ride track!) in the queue as well.
We approached the loading area and saw the ride vehicles for the first time — they’re tiny little baskets made of grass with buttons for wheels and if that isn’t the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen, you might be wrong.
And, we were off exploring Pixie Hollow!
As you ride, your vehicle will spin and slide around corners. We think this will be a great, peaceful kiddie ride — not worth a super long wait, but a great option for the little ones to enjoy.
We were transported into Mermaid Lagoon, where we saw underwater vibes…
…and were then quickly transported to a winter scene!
You can see how each scene transitions seamlessly — just like Pixie Hollow!
The ride finale ends with an animatronic of Cheese the Mouse, which looked incredible! They do a great job of forced perspective in this one.
And there you have it — Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies is an adorable ride (that totally reminds us of Heimlich’s Chew Chew Train that used to be at Disney California Adventure) that we think kids will enjoy, and we love that Tinker Bell is getting some representation!
