We are officially almost halfway to Halloween and couldn’t be more excited!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be here before we know it, and while we’re still waiting to hear most of the details surrounding the party this year, we do know that some popular offerings will be returning. And now Disney has confirmed (in a roundabout way) that even MORE of our favorite offerings will be coming back!
Over on the Disney Careers website, anyone can see what auditions Disney is holding for their parks and/or cruise line ships. Just recently, Disney released a few new casting calls, one of them titled “ONLINE SUBMISSIONS: Actors Who are Local to Central Florida for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.”
Reading further, the casting call states they’re looking for “Comedic, interactive actors with quick wit and character who can engage Guests of all ages in random moments of the season” and you can even see the monologues they’re asking you to audition with for the following characters:
- Broome the Butler (Haunted Mansion)
- Cactus-Flower Cate (Haunted Mansion)
- Miss Carlotta/Rinatta (Haunted Mansion)
- Friendly Francis/Frances (Pirates of the Caribbean)
- Ducky (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Submissions are being accepted online and potential in-person callbacks may be held June 7th, 2024. Actors selected will be working July-October 2024. So yes, this means we KNOW that these fun, interactive character experiences from both attractions will be returning for the 2024 party!
We can’t wait to hear more about the party this year, and we’ll share all the news with you as soon as we know it, so stay tuned to DFB!
