There is some big news coming from Magic Kingdom!

Recently, we have been getting a TON of news from the Bayou. We have to say, we have been LOVING it. We have already met some pretty cool critters, and have even gotten a sneak peek at some animatronics that we’ll be getting to meet when the ride opens. This morning, we saw something BIG over on the Bayou, and we NEED to talk about it with y’all.

We’ve seen the closure of the shops around Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (at the time, Splash Mountain) since the COVID-19 pandemic closed all of Walt Disney World. Disney didn’t say much about what they would become, however, we FINALLY got our answer.

This morning Disney took to Instagram to share the two NEW stores that we’ll be seeing near the Bayou.

First, we’ll be seeing Critter Co-Op! However, they have some house rules, so make sure to check out that sign before you enter! To help you prepare, we’ll even share them with you now.

Remember, the house rules are:

1. 1. All critters welcome
   2. There’s NO such thing as a wrong note!
   3. Dress code: Swamp Casual

We think we’ll need a little more insight into what “swamp casual” is, but we’ll rock it either way. 😉

Next, we’ll also be seeing Tiana’s Bayou General. They didn’t share much information about this store, however, the building does say “groceries, housewares, and dry goods”, so maybe that’s a hint about what we will see in here!

We’re SO excited to be able to check out these stores once they open — we do LOVE shopping over here.
