Disney just dropped a TON of updates about all the changes coming to Downtown Disney at Disneyland Resort.

We FINALLY got an opening timeline for Din Tai Fung, a Disneyland restaurant we are SO excited about. But before we talk about what’s coming, we need to talk about what’s GONE. A restaurant recently closed in Downtown Disney, and Disney didn’t waste any time telling us what would go in that location. Two MORE new restaurants are coming soon. Say what?!

Tortilla Jo’s and Taqueria at Tortilla Jo’s recently closed permanently in Downtown Disney. Disney has now revealed the plans it has for that location. Two brand-NEW restaurants will be taking up that space, a steakhouse restaurant and an adjacent barbecue eatery.

Tortilla Jo’s offered Mexican fare, but if you still want to find that in Downtown Disney, THREE restaurant concepts with Mexican food are coming soon: Paseo, Centrico, and Tiendita. In addition to those three restaurants, the previously mentioned Din Tai Fung will be opening this summer, and Parkside Market, that will house four MORE restaurants under one roof, is also under construction. The eating is about to be AMAZING at Downtown Disney!
