It’s no secret that we’ve had our fair share of technical issues when dealing with the Disney World website.

We’ve seen the website get overloaded plenty of times in the past, including days when tickets drop for special events, when annual passes went back on sale, or when major discounts were released. And if you’re experiencing some technical difficulties with Disney World today, we’ve got the reason why!
On the morning of Tuesday, April 9th, Disney World released four new discounts for upcoming stays. These included a Disney Visa Dining Plan deal, a room discount for the summer and early fall, a Florida Resident deal, and an Annual Passholder deal.
Port Orleans French Quarter
Because of all these savings, it seems that many people are logging into the Disney World website to make bookings and snag deals. And all that traffic has caused a delay when you open the booking engine for Disney World — we were redirected to a waiting room on the website.
There’s a waiting room!
If you get stuck in the waiting room, the website recommends that you don’t refresh the page or select the back button. Just be patient! It might help to open the website on multiple devices — for past waiting rooms we’ve sometimes found that to be easier.
EPCOT
