Who is ready to adventure with their favorite toys again?!
We love all things Toy Story!
We had heard rumblings that Toy Story 5 would be happening, and eventually Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that the movie was set for 2026 and beyond, and would feature Tim Allen as the voice of Buzz Lightyear. But, now it’s official and the release date has been confirmed!
It’s official — Toy Story 5 is coming in 2026 just like Bob Iger said, but now we have a release date! Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 will be released on June 19th, 2026.

The Wrap confirmed the date alongside the news that Disney has pushed quite a few release dates for 2025 and beyond. As far as the details on the next film in the Toy Story franchise go, well, Disney is keeping those pretty locked up — but we’re excited to see where this story goes, as many of us thought we had seen the last of Andy’s pals already!

We also know that Moana 2 will be in theaters on November 27th, 2024, and we recently got another look at that film.

Not only that, but Disney has some pretty big-name movies scheduled to release in 2024. The lineup for 2024 includes Inside Out 2, Mufasa: The Lion King, The Amateur (20th Century Studios), Deadpool 3 (Marvel), The First Omen (20th Century Studios), and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (20th Century Studios).
