We can’t wait to experience Universal’s new theme park, Epic Universe.

But, that’s not the only new experience Universal has in its back pocket right now. We’re anticipating the opening of the new DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios later this year, and, we just got a major clue that a new show will be coming to Universal soon too!
Universal Studios Florida has filed a new trademark application for “CINESATIONAL: A Symphonic Spectacular.”
It’s easier to plan a trip to Universal Orlando
The trademark application description includes “presentation of live show performances” and “live appearances by costumed characters” which, combined with the name, leads us to believe that a new show could be coming later this year. Universal has been hard at work in the lagoon, getting it back into shape since the closure of the Cinematic Celebration lagoon show in 2023 (Spectrum News).

Judging by the name, we’re assuming this show (if that is, in fact, what this trademark is for) will combine cinematic references and music along with pyrotechnics and potentially even drones.
Of course, Universal hasn’t made any sort of announcements about what Cinesational might actually be, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates.

If you are looking to catch a drone show in Orlando this summer, Disney Springs announced that “Disney Dreams That Soar” — a new drone show — is coming. These drones are programmed to create designs in the sky and will be accompanied by a beautiful musical score that includes some memorable movie quotes. Read more here!
