Why You May Need To Spend $100 NOW To Get Tickets to This Year's Disney D23 Expo!

August will be here before we know it, and that means that it’ll be time for Disney’s NEW D23: The Ultimate Fan Event!

We recently heard lots of exciting news about what we can expect at this year’s event, plus we got some important information about the ticket sales this year, but that got us thinking. There’s one important aspect of the ticket-buying process that just might make it worth it to spend $100 NOW (before tickets go on sale) to ensure you get to experience the event how you want. Hear us out.

When Disney announced the ticket tiers and prices for this year’s D23 Expo, it was revealed that D23 Gold Members will get EXCLUSIVE access to tickets two days before D23 General Members. While a D23 General Membership is free, a D23 Gold Membership costs $100 a year to join. It comes with its own set of perks, including one IMPORTANT perk for the D23 event. D23 Gold members can purchase tickets EARLY.

Additionally, the D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket is EXCLUSIVE to D23 Gold Members. This special ticket gets you a floor seat on all three days for the evening shows at the Honda Center and three days of access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center. These tickets start at $999 per person, and quantities are limited.

To fully experience the entire event, you may want to have access to both the Honda Center and the Anaheim Convention Center. D23 Gold Members get first access to a limited number of 1-day and 3-day tickets, beginning on March 26th, 2024, at 12PM PST.

So what happens if you’re NOT a D23 Gold Member? Well, it’s possible that General Member tickets could sell out! Even if Disney reserves a select amount of tickets for General Members, these tickets are going to be VERY popular and may sell out before you can snag one. D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

If you know 1000% that you want to experience everything there is to offer at both the Honda Center and the Anaheim Convention Center on all three days, it may be worth it for you to purchase a D23 Gold Membership in the next few days to make sure you’re one of the first ones to get tickets. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until March 28th at 12PM PST to grab your tickets (unless you’re a Disney Visa Cardmember, in which case you have access to a limited number of 1-day and 3-day tickets beginning March 27th, 2024, at 12PM PST).

The entire event spans from August 9th–11th (with a D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on August 8th), and you’ll need to be FAST at checkout. You’ll want to have the D23 website open with your cursor ready a few minutes before the tickets actually go on sale.
