Disney keeps releasing more and more news!
We are so excited about CommuniCore Hall’s opening and the new drone show coming to Disney Springs this summer! Disney also announced the name of its brand-new cruise ship and gave us a tiny sneak peek of what could be on board.
Disney announced that in 2025, the Disney Destiny will be hitting the high seas! This ship’s theme revolves around heroes and villains, and Disney left some clues behind in their announcement!
Disney produced this video about the ship, and we noticed something interesting at the end. You can watch the video here:
Notice the end of the video? The hallway doors seem to be revealing clues about what might be on board. Let’s take a look!
Haunted Mansion Door
The Disney Treasure will take her maiden voyage later this year in December, and it will include a Haunted Mansion Parlor. We think this door possibly hints that the Haunted Mansion Parlor will also be found aboard the Destiny. We hope this is the case as we are super excited to be able to have a cocktail among the 999 happy haunts on the Treasure later this year!
Incredibles Door
We would recognize Edna Mode anywhere! Currently, the Disney Wish and soon the Treasure will have the Hero Zone, an Incredibles-themed inflatable play space. This door might be a hint that the Hero Zone will also be found on the Destiny. Since the theme of the ship is heroes and villains, we are hoping that more of the franchise will be included.
Pirates of the Caribbean Door
Disney Cruise Line offers unique experiences like Pirate Night with fireworks at sea. At first, we thought that this door might just represent this, but we think it is hinting at more! We know that Magic Kingdom will soon have a Pirates in the Caribbean-themed lounge, so does this mean that a version of this lounge might debut at sea? We have our fingers crossed!
Spiderman and Black Panther Door
Currently, the Wish offers Worlds of Marvel as part of its nightly rotational dining. The Treasure will also have the Worlds of Marvel restaurant on board. Could this door signify that the Destiny will also get this Marvel-themed restaurant? This could also hint that the interactive part of the dining experience will feature more Spiderman and Black Panther story lines. These doors could also signify an element from the kids’ clubs as some ships have Marvel elements.
Lion King and Hercules
While the end of the video does not show a Lion King or Hercules door, we can assume that based on the video we will see elements from these two films on board!
We also noticed that there are three unmarked doors which means that Disney will hopefully fill in the blanks with another announcement. We are looking forward to seeing what will all be offered when the Destiny sets sail in 2025!
What We Hope Will Be Included at The Haunted Mansion Parlor!
