We’ve been eating a LOT of food in Disney World recently.
With new snacks for both Valentine’s Day and Black History Month, we’ve been running (but not actually running because that’s against the rules!) around the parks reviewing treats left and right. If you’re coming to Disney World soon, you’ll certainly have your choice of delicious new offerings to try! And for one of the yummiest we’ve had so far, you’ll need to head to EPCOT.
For only a few days (now until February 14th), you can snag the Valentine’s Day Milkshake at Connections Eatery in EPCOT!
This new treat is a vanilla milkshake with strawberry sauce, whipped cream, and a chocolate garnish. You can get it for $7.49 and it’s available on Mobile Order.
It’s a rather photogenic thing, but it melts REALLY quickly and they filled that cup to the absolute brim, so be careful if you’re carrying it around the park. I’d like to formally apologize to the EPCOT custodial team — clearly they didn’t take your feelings into consideration when adding this to the menu.
The milkshake had a nice vanilla bean flavor, and I particularly liked it when I got a sip with some of the strawberry sauce — it made it taste like strawberry ice cream! The consistency was really thick and creamy. There’s a significant amount of whipped cream on top, but you still get a decent portion of the shake.
The chocolate on top tasted like dark chocolate. It was very rich and had a nice snap when I bit into it. Altogether, this treat reminds me of a chocolate-covered strawberry and I’m definitely not mad about that!
I was pretty impressed with how delicious such a simple treat could be! But if you want to snag one, you’ll have to get over to EPCOT FAST! It’s only there until the 14th.
