Disney World has announced quite a few projects in recent years!

Some of those projects are currently underway (like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure), while we’re still waiting on updates for others (we’re looking at you, PLAY! Pavilion). And in Magic Kingdom, there’s one project that was announced…but we’re still waiting to hear more! Honestly, this one has us intrigued.
Back in July 2023, Disney announced that they would be bringing a new offering to Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom called Smellephants on Parade. It will be presented by Scentsy and was described as a “family-friendly ‘search and sniff’ adventure.

Since then, we haven’t heard any updates about the new offering, and the only change we’ve seen is that Scentsy logos have been added to some of the signs in Storybook Circus.

But now, we might have an update! We noticed recently that some bushes and foliage have been removed over by the Casey Jr. Splash ‘n Soak Station. These planters used to be filled with greenery, but now they’re down to the basics.
It’s empty!
Disney hasn’t specifically shared where the features will all be located for Smellephants on Parade, so is it possible that some of the statues will go over here? With the bushes out of the way, it would be easier to install the new additions.
Could we see some smellephants here?
We’ll make sure to keep watching these spots to see if anything changes, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest. We’re eager to find out what “smellephants” actually are and to sniff them out ourselves!
