We might be having some holly jolly fun at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t look forward to some fun that’s just around the corner.
One of our FAVORITE festivals, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts, will kick off on January 12th, 2024, and will conclude on February 19th, 2024. This is one of the SHORTEST festivals of the year, so — what all can you expect to do in that short amount of time?
Here is EVERYTHING that has been confirmed for the 2024 Festival of the Arts so far!
Disney on Broadway
Each night, you can watch Disney on Broadway stars perform some of the classic songs from beloved shows. These will take place at the America Gardens Theater at 5:30 PM, 6:45PM, and 8PM. Dining Packages will be available, too!
You can go ahead and take a look at the schedule to plan your visit!

FOOOOOOOD!
So far, we’ve only gotten a glimpse of the 16 booths that will be available at the 2024 Festival.
As soon as we know menus, we’ll let you know! This is probably what we’re most excited for, of course. Oh, and did we mention that The Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine, a colorful food scavenger hunt, will RETURN?!

Art Exhibits
Throughout the Festival, you’ll be able to hear musical performances daily in World Showcase Plaza, see acrobatic performances each day, and even witness art performances where you’ll see artists paint Disney characters in minutes!
Be sure to check your festival map, Disney World app, or talk with a Cast Member to learn specifics regarding showtimes!
Animation Academy
Each day at 12:30 and 1:30 in the America Gardens Theater, you’ll be able to join artists to learn how to draw a Disney Character! Here’s a list of featured artists:
- Will Gay
- Lon Smart
- Matthew Dewater
- Brian Blackmore
- Sarah Schmidt
- David Holbrook
- Michael Montgomery
- Alex Maher
- Andy Quiles
- Hannah Loflin
- Luke Consolo
- Justin Dring
This is a fun way to learn something new about Disney animation.
Expression Section: A Paint By Numbers Mural
This is a fan-favorite experience for many festival-goers! Each day from 11AM to 5PM, you’ll be able to pick up paint, a brush, and your assigned number. You’ll then be able to paint a few squares of the massive mural that correspond with your paint color.
By the end of the festival, the mural will be complete, and it is so COOL to see it all come together.
Chalk Art
Throughout the festival, there will be stations set up where kiddos can create their own chalk art! Plus, there will be artists chalking Disney characters throughout the parks.
There will also be chalk drawings of beloved Disney characters throughout the park, which you can search for and receive a PRIZE after completing the map! Yep, Figment’s Brush with the Masters is back, yet again.
Photo Ops
Those cool photo ops that allow you to step INTO paintings will also be coming back to the festival this year, but there will be some NEW photo ops inspired by Wish and Sleeping Beauty.
Here’s the full list of photo ops you’ll find:
- International Gateway: Luncheon of the Boating Party – Pierre-Auguste Renoir
- The American Adventure: Washington Crossing the Delaware – Emanuel Leutze
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: Mona Lisa – Leonardo da Vinci
- Between Italy Pavilion and Germany Pavilion: The Scream – Edvard Munch
- Mexico Pavilion: An Homage to Frida Kahlo
- Bridge to World Showcase: Wish Storybook
- Italy Pavilion Courtyard: Teatime with Penguins
- Bridge to World Showcase: Forest Scene from Sleeping Beauty
Merchandise
Of course, you’ll be able to commemorate your visit with some festival merchandise!
You’ll also be able to purchase mini festival gift cards with an attached wristlet so that you can go cash free and not worry about sifting through your belongings each time you want to buy food or merch.
