The holidays have arrived in Disney World, especially in Magic Kingdom.
The holiday decorations are up, holiday snacks have arrived, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is ON! However, if you’re planning on visiting Magic Kingdom next week, we’ve got to give you a word of warning: it’s going to be closing early nearly every day next week.
One thing we always tell you to do before your Disney World trip is to check theme park hours. That’s because things like after hours events and seasonal parties will close parks early. Well, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is happening on December 10th, 12th, 14th, and 15th.Â
What does that mean? It means Magic Kingdom will close EARLY on those days at 6PM. If you don’t have a party ticket, you’ll have to leave the park. If you have the park hopper ticket add-on, you can go to another park, though.
If you’d like to attend the party, though, we’ve got some bad news. EVERY night of the party is sold out except for December 14th. So, if you’d like to go, be sure to buy those tickets ASAP because we expect that night to sell out, too. A party ticket gets you into the event, plus free cookies and drinks, as well as access to exclusive snacks and party-only entertainment like Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.
You can learn more about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party here. We’ll also keep an eye on Disney World park hours and let you know if anything changes. Stay tuned to DFB for more.
