A RARE Disney Family Christmas Movie Is on Disney+ NOW!

The holiday season is here!

Hello from a snow-filled Main Street, U.S.A!

We all have our favorite holiday traditions. Maybe it’s visiting Disney World during this magical season. Maybe it’s gifting everyone you know some fun Disney merchandise. Maybe it’s watching your favorite Christmas movies on Disney+, like The Muppet Christmas Carol or Home Alone. Well, make a NEW tradition this year with a brand NEW special on Disney+…featuring Walt Disney himself!

A special film is now available on Disney+ called Christmas with Walt Disney. Okay, that sounds awesome, right? Who wouldn’t want to spend the holidays with Walt? The special was produced by The Walt Disney Family Museum and directed by Don Hahn (Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King). It’s been shown seasonally at the museum in San Francisco since 2009, but you can finally see it for yourself at HOME!

The special features some of Walt’s home movies and holiday segments from shorts and movies. Walt’s daughter, Diane, also shares some of her favorite family Christmas memories with home movies, vintage Disneyland footage, and more. To say this special is…well…SPECIAL…is an understatement.

So, make a note to add it to your watchlist so you have something new to watch every year for the holidays. In the meantime, you also have plenty of other great Disney holiday shows and movies to watch, including the new season of The Santa Clauses.
