Disney Just Released a NEW VILLAIN Song!

It’s Halloween, which means we’re thinking about our favorite Disney villains.

Yes, we’ve been to Oogie Boogie Bash to rub shoulders with the likes of Agatha Harkness, Madame Mim, Ernesto de la Cruz, and more. We’ve been buying up some wicked merchandise, too. But Disney is getting ready to unveil a NEW villain in its upcoming animated movie Wish. Like all good Disney villains, he has his own song and you can hear it NOW.

So in Wish, Chris Pine (who we’re already HUGE fans of) will be voicing the character of King Magnifico, the leader of the kingdom of Rosas. Magnifico has magical powers that give him the power to grant the wishes of his people — usually to his own selfish ends. He’s almost a classic Disney villain, complete with a goatee, and we are here for it.

Well, if you didn’t know that Chris Pine could SING, prepare to be amazed. Because he’s singing Magnifico’s theme song, “This Is the Thanks I Get?” We’re going to warn you now…this one is a BANGER.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Grammy winner Julia Michaels wrote Magnfico’s song, along with some of the other memorable sounds you’ll hear on the Wish soundtrack. Michaels called working on the music for Wish one of the highlights of her career. “To see it fully animated, I cried,” she said. “Because I was like, wow, there it is — it’s alive!”

Wish also features the vocal talents of Ariana DeBose, Alan Tudyk, Evan Peters, Victor Garber, Harvey Guillén, and more. You’ll get to hear the entire Wish soundtrack when Wish arrives in movie theaters on November 22nd. Tickets are on sale now!
