Disneyland Resort is planning some changes for the future!

If you’ve been keeping up with the DisneylandForward project, then you know that the company is hoping to expand the west coast parks. But on top of that, Downtown Disney is in the process of getting some upgrades. And now we’ve got more details about what to expect!
On top of the restaurants that are coming to Downtown Disney, we’ll also be getting a NEW stage! Later this year, a new stage and lawn will open for special events, activities, musical entertainment, and more.

The area will also be home to a sculptural tower from Nikkolas Smith. The tower will pay tribute to “pioneering architects of color in Southern California during the mid-20th century.” It will feature unique geometric patterns and a mid-century look.
