This NEW Disney World Treat Is Meant To Be…DESTROYED?

A Bug’s Life (1998) is making a big comeback in a fun and tasty way!

Despite the fact that “It’s Tough To Be A Bug” may eventually close its doors at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in the foreseeable future, Disney is still coming out with A Bug’s Life merchandise. In fact, if you find yourself in Disney Springs any time soon, you’ll have an opportunity to pick up THREE new items based on the Disney-Pixar classic!

Disney announced on October 9th that fan-favorite Heimlich will be featured as a new Disney Munchling and as a Munchlings-inspired chocolate piñata! The Munchlings plush can be found in World of Disney at Disney Springs while two new Heimlich treats be found at Amorette’s Patisserie also at Disney Springs.

The limited edition Disney Munchling is a Chocolate Piñata Heimlich with Candy Corn Crackle plush. Disney Munchlings are plush collections that combine Disney characters with tasty treats. Many Disney Munchlings come scented, and this one is no exception. It smells like chocolate and candy corn.

The new Disney Munchling has inspired a new treat, the Chocolate Piñata Heimlich with Candy Corn Crackle.

This piñata dessert features a similar design to the plush but is meant to be cracked open and eaten (obviously). Be advised, though, as this treat is one of the more expensive desserts at $28. It’s so cute that we really would NOT want to destroy this adorable dessert!

Note that Disney has said this treat will be available at Amorette’s Patisserie, but usually we see these cute piñata treats at The Ganachery. So if you stop by Amorette’s and can’t find it, check out the Ganachery next!

We also noticed a Munchlings Black Forest Pastry in the design of Heimlich, also at Amorette’s Patisserie. This dessert is made up of vanilla bean and dark chocolate mousse with cherries on a chocolate sable cookie.

The treat is very cute, with a white chocolate image of Heimlich’s face on the front of the “body.” This dessert is a much cheaper option at only $10.
