While each of the ships that make up the Disney Cruise Line fleet has a wide variety of special offerings, a fan-favorite experience for many was once only available aboard the Disney Wish, but will soon be available to experience aboard the Disney Treasure as well. 

The AquaMouse!

Yep, we’re talking about the AquaMouse! The AquaMouse debuted on the Disney Wish as Disney Cruise Line’s first water coaster, featuring accompanying stories from The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse! This family-friendly ride is a combination of a water slide and a roller coaster and will take you on a “tubular” adventure with Mickey and Minnie. While the attraction does already exist aboard the Disney Wish, the AquaMouse will debut aboard the Disney Treasure with something totally BRAND NEW.

So, on the Disney Wish, you’ll get one of two storylines from The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse to enhance your ride experience. You’ll get either “Scuba Scramble,” which takes you on a subaquatic adventure to Mermaid Lagoon, where you’ll see LOTS of sea creatures, or you’ll get “Swiss Meltdown,” which takes you on a mountain sledding adventure that goes “hilariously awry.”

However, aboard the Disney Treasure, there will also be a third option, a brand new story called “Golden Egg.” While Disney hasn’t yet shared specific details regarding this story, we DO know that, at first, it will ONLY be available aboard the Disney Treasure. Eventually, all three storylines will be available on both ships.

We can’t wait to learn more details about this all-new story on the AquaMouse, and we really can’t wait to experience it ourselves. If you’re interested in cruising aboard the Disney Treasure, booking opens on September 20th, 2023! If you’re a member of Disney Cruise Line’s Castaway Club, however, you could book as early as September 30th.
