Disney World knows how to celebrate an occasion — that’s for sure.
From anniversaries to Halloween to the holidays and more, chances are you’ll almost always find something to celebrate in the parks and hotels — and this time around is no different. Disney is honoring all things princesses for World Princess Week, and we’re heading to one of our favorite hotels to join the party!
Over at Disney’s Riviera Resort, Topolino’s Terrace serves up some seriously incredible eats. But for World Princess Week, you can get a dessert that is absolutely gorgeous — so you know we had to try it out!
The Make It Pink, Make It Blue Color Changing Mousse is an orange blossom honey mousse transformed by color-changing flavors of citrus accompanied with strawberry curd and almond crumble. Yep — you read that right. This dessert changes colors! You can grab it for $16. When it’s first brought out, it’s a blue color…
…but then a little spritz of citrus turns it pinkish-purple! Talk about magical. We can’t deny how absolutely beautiful (and cool!) this dessert is — but how does it taste? It was an incredibly light, airy, and bright dessert. It’s fluffy and almost melts in your mouth with a natural sweetness from the honey — it’s sweet, but doesn’t taste like straight sugar.

Make it pink!
The cake on the bottom is a bit bland but we think it’s pretty integral to the structure of the mousse. The saccharine flavor is cut by the tartness of the berry compote served on the side (though we do wish there was more of this). The crown is made of white chocolate with edible gold dust, and while it certainly adds to the overall look, it doesn’t add much in terms of flavor — it’s mostly a decoration. The pastry chef who brought ours out told us that this is the first immersive dessert offered at Topolino’s!
The Make It Pink, Make It Blue Color Changing Mousse will be available at dinner only now through August 31st, so snag those Topolino’s reservations quickly if you want to try this out. We’ll be on the hunt for more must-try Disney World desserts, so keep an eye on DFB for the latest!
